Equitable pricing means clients of Shanna Hickey Counselling are provided accessibility to therapeutic services regardless of their financial situation. Fees for therapeutic services are offered on a pay-what-you-can basis for those who require it. These rates are based on the capacity of clients while simultaneously providing quality care. The goal is to create an inclusive environment so that everyone has an opportunity to access necessary mental health supports.

Do you accept clients covered by the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP)?

Yes, at Shanna Hickey Counselling we accept clients who are awarded coverage under the CVAP benefit. With a dedicated academic focus on Victimology, years of research, and my own personal experience, this is deeply meaningful work that I intentionally center my practice on. I believe that victims and survivors deserve prompt services that are effective and support them with healthy coping to return to their ideal way of living. Shanna Hickey Counselling is currently located at 4720 Kingsway, Metrotower II, Suite 2600 in Burnaby, BC! Centrally located close to the SkyTrain station and directly next to Metrotown Shopping Complex. There is parking available underground. Looking forward to seeing you there!
