My Approach

Relational, client-centered mental health support for
Individuals, Couples and Families in
Burnaby, British Columbia

I graciously meet you as an uninvited guest on the unceded, ancestral territories of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh speaking peoples. As an ally, it is my commitment to walk alongside you, in a good way. I am a cisgender woman with she/her pronouns and have Irish, Scottish, Welsh and French ancestry. I am grateful to share space and time with you on this territory.

I approach my practice from a decolonized, relational, and anti-oppressive framework. I believe that you are the expert of your story and know your needs best. Using a variety of therapeutic modalities, my approach is client-centered and co-created. I am passionate about supporting people to find their inner voice and overcome their hardest moments. Through conversation and connection, we will explore your personal strengths and find an approach that works for you.

I offer my support from a systemic perspective. This means your relationship to self and others, organizations, and the overall social, political, economic and cultural climate you were born into, raised and currently interact with is considered as well as welcomed into the room with us.

Every ethnicity, gender, sexuality, socio-economic status and spiritual or religious belief is welcome in this space. It is my goal to guide you on your unique healing journey towards wellness. I look forward to witnessing you transform to greater stability and well-being.
